Pacassi Nikolaus Franz Leonhard

*1716 (Vienna, Austria), †1790 (Vienna, Austria)

Austrian architect of Italian origin active in Czech Lands, representative of late Baroque and Rococo styles. From 1760 he was supreme court architect in Vienna. Creator of representative late Baroque court architecture of simple, monumental design with plastic accents. He worked on the project of reconstruction for the Prague Castle. Outside of the Czech lands he cooperated on the construction of Schönbrunn in Vienna and reconstructed Bratislava castle.
